Eligibility Criteria:
Age:
- Date of Birth Block: Candidates born between 03 July 2004 and 03 January 2008 (both days inclusive) are eligible to apply.
- Upper Age Limit: Candidates must be under 21 years of age at the time of enrolment.
Marital Status: Only unmarried male candidates are eligible. Selected candidates must remain unmarried throughout the four-year engagement period. Marrying during this period will result in discharge from service.
Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed Matriculation or an equivalent examination from education boards recognized by the Central, State, or Union Territory governments as of the registration date.
Mandatory Medical Standards:
- Height: Minimum acceptable height is 152 cm.
- Chest: Minimum expansion of 5 cm.
- Weight: Proportionate to height and age.
- Vision and Hearing: Standards as per Indian Air Force requirements.
- Dental Health: Healthy gums, a good set of teeth, and a minimum of 14 dental points.
- General Health: Candidates should be free from any active or latent medical or surgical disabilities, infections, or skin ailments.
General Disqualifications:
- Substance Abuse: Use of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances is strictly prohibited. Violation will lead to rejection during selection or disciplinary action, including dismissal, if discovered after enrolment.
- Body Tattoos: Permanent body tattoos are not permitted, except for specific cases such as inner forearm tattoos or traditional tribal tattoos, subject to approval by the Selection Centre.
Job Profile:
Selected Agniveervayu Non-Combatants will be assigned duties in either the Hospitality or Housekeeping streams:
Hospitality Stream: Responsibilities include cooking, kitchen management, food presentation, maintaining hygiene in kitchen areas, handling kitchen equipment, and serving food and beverages.
Housekeeping Stream: Tasks involve cleaning and maintenance of living and working spaces, gardening, laundry, basic repairs, and other duties to ensure a clean and functional environment.
